About Us

Bayless Early Childhood Center is Licensed and Accredited by the State of Missouri. We enroll students ages three-six years in our tuition-based program and ages three-five through IEP services with Special School District. We serve students from birth to age five through our free Parents as Teachers Program.  Bayless Early Childhood Center uses The Creative Curriculum, a curriculum framework approved by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and Conscious Discipline. Through a variety of group and individual experiences, we strive to empower each child to think for oneself, decide between right and wrong, solve realistic problems, become critical thinkers and creative problem-solvers, develop cooperative and collaborative skills, and develop a love of learning. Student success depends both on a solid foundation of content knowledge and the ability to apply it to real problems and new situations. Children participate in and explore an array of learning opportunities revolving around their interests and developmental levels through play and exploration. |

Full Day Pre-K (Mon.-Fri.): 8:15 AM - 3:15 PM (arrival 8:05 - 8:15; dismissal 3:15 - 3:25)
AM Half Day Pre-K (Mon.-Thurs.): 8:15 AM - 11:15 AM
PM Half Day Pre-K (Mon. - Thurs.): 12:15 PM - 3:15 PM
Before Care and After Care will be provided by Right at School beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. Enrollment for Right at School will start in early April. More information can be found in the flyer below or by visiting the Right at School website.

Directions to Bayless Early Childhood Center:
From Gravois Rd., turn onto Weber Road, turn left into the parking lot before the crosswalk signal and park in the parking lot in front of the ECC or behind the playground.
From Highway 55, turn onto Bayless Ave. towards Union Rd., Bayless turns into Weber Rd., turn right into the parking lot after the crosswalk signal and park in the parking lot in front of the ECC or behind the playground.
